Financial Assistance Eligibility
Requirements

Must be a current employee or a community resident with a direct referral from a club member, employee, or community leader

Must demonstrate an urgent, temporary need (this is not a long-term support program)

Must be willing to provide documentation to verify circumstances

Applicants may only receive assistance once per calendar year, unless approved by the Board in exceptional cases
Application & Vetting Process

Initial Inquiry

Application begins with an online or paper submission using our Confidential Assistance Request Form

Forms can also be submitted by a sponsor on behalf of someone in need

Review by Committee

The Foundation Board will review the request within 3–5 business days

Urgent/emergency requests will be prioritized for same-day/next-day evaluation

Verification

We may request supporting documentation such as:

Pay stubs, lease agreements, medical bills, utility disconnection notices, etc.

A phone interview or in-person meeting may be scheduled if more context is needed

Decision & Distribution

Once approved, funds or assistance are distributed promptly

Payment is made directly to service providers (e.g., landlord, utility company, hospital)

Follow-Up

A follow-up check-in is conducted 2–4 weeks after assistance to ensure stability and offer continued support if needed

Confidentiality
All requests are handled with the highest level of discretion. Only the board members will see applicant details, and no information is ever shared outside the Foundation unless required by law.
